Nuclear Pharmacist under the direction of a physician, compounds and dispenses radiopharmaceutical drugs to medical care providers. Responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, and distributing radiopharmaceuticals. Being a Nuclear Pharmacist analyzes drugs for verification of identity and strength. Must have completed a program in nuclear pharmacy. Additionally, Nuclear Pharmacist may require an advanced degree of pharmacy. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires license to practice. Nuclear Pharmacist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. - Supervise the preparation of any medicines.
License Pharmacist Requirements- Active Pharmacist with NJ Board of Pharmacy a must
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
- Must be multi-tasking and reliable
- Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS
