Responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, and distributing radiopharmaceuticals. Being a Nuclear Pharmacist analyzes drugs for verification of identity and strength. Must have completed a program in nuclear pharmacy. Additionally, Nuclear Pharmacist may require an advanced degree of pharmacy. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Manage Meds is a privately owned consultant pharmacist company based in Texas. We provide consultant pharmacist services to skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings and group homes.
Manage Meds is looking for licensed pharmacy technicians to conduct routine medication storage audits at long term care facilities, and/or assisted living facilities. The facilities for this position are located in the DFW and surrounding areas, with the majority located in Tarrant County and south of Fort Worth. Each assigned facility would be scheduled for a technician visit on a monthly or quarterly rotation. Some travel is required by all pharmacists and technicians who work for our company. For example, some nursing homes could be up to 2 hours away, so a reliable car is necessary. Travel time is paid for facilities that are located 30 minutes from your house. Currently, we have an opening for part time - full time work (4-5 days per week)
Job responsibilities include:
Long term care experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must have good communication skills, great customer service skills, be self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable with technology (Excel for reports and Outlook for emails).
Applicants must have a valid pharmacy technician license in the state of Texas, proof of COVID vaccination, reliable car and be able to provide your own laptop.
