Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a long-term care facility. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, and training clinical staff. Being a Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for evaluating patient health. Additionally, Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care may require an advanced degree. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis RN
Job Summary: The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis RN will provide specialized care to patients with kidney disease by performing dialysis treatments and monitoring patients' progress. This role involves traveling to different healthcare facilities to provide dialysis services, making it ideal for adventurous and flexible individuals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer dialysis treatments as prescribed by the physician
2. Monitor patient vital signs and assess their overall health during treatment
3. Educate patients and their families on kidney disease management and self-care techniques
4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans for each patient
5. Document patient care and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
6. Stay current on advances in dialysis treatment and implement best practices in patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis nursing
3. BLS certification
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Willingness to travel to different locations for assignments
