Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Internal Medicine/Family Medicine)

Location: Flushing, New York

Salary: $120,000 to $150,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistance to join our Internal Medicine/Family Medicine office in Flushing, New York. The ideal candidate for this role should be fluent in Chinese and English. As a NP/PA in our clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations.

Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases etc.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on preventive care and health promotion.

Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice and state regulations.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.

Collaborate with the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.

Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records.

Participate in regular case discussions and clinical meetings to enhance patient care and stay current with best practices.

Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulations, including compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Current and valid NP license in the state of New York.

Certification as a NP with a specialization in Internal medicine or Family Medicine.

Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.

Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with a focus on internal medicine.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.

Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Prior experience in a similar clinical setting is preferred.
