Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in an orthopedic setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Orthopedic Clinic Registered Nurse will join a leading orthopedic program that specializes in a number of procedures including sports medicine, pain management, joint replacement, and orthopedic surgery. The Registered Nurse will care for patients within the Clinic, monitor patients health during procedures, direct patient flow, and help keep clinical areas sanitary and organized. This is a Monday - Friday position without weekend or holiday requirements.
Requirements Include:
- RN Nurse license in the state of New Hampshire or ability to obtain
- Prior nursing experience in a orthopedic setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
This facility is located in southern New Hampshire, a suburban area not too far from the greater Boston region. You can find a number of restaurants, parks, and highly ranked public schools in this community.
