Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care jobs in Germantown, TN
Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in an urgent care setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. • A fast-paced work environment, caring for 3-6 patients an hour, on average
• A rotating 36-40 hour work schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend (shorter hours!)

What’s required?
• 1 Year of related experience; or the ability to practice independently without onsite supervision

• DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
