Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health works in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide medical care and treatment in women's clinic setting. Provides care to women from adolescence through menopause, with a focus on reproduction and gynecology. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Works in outpatient settings, responding to high patient volumes in short-term spans and dealing with unpredictable situations and issues. Follows established guidelines and protocols. Boston Mountain Rural Health Center, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is now accepting applications for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at our clinic located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing psychiatric care to both adults and children. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver care to our patients. In addition, the PMHNP may assume the role of therapist and manage the delivery of psychiatric services to their patients via Telehealth and onsite. Our office hours are 7:45am to 5:15pm Monday through Thursday and 7:45am to 11:45am on Friday.
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited school and obtain PMHNP License from a Nurse Practitioner program recognized by the Board of Nursing or from a program otherwise designated for Advanced Practice Nurses which has been approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
• Must have a current unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with prescriptive authority.
