Job description
Provides lead group direction and day-to-day financial oversight of budget, accounting, project accounting. Provides strategic leadership and analysis in the utilization of information systems within the department and input to recommended policies that have a major operational impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides recording and reporting of accounting and financial transactions, ensuring that all fiscal operations are in compliance.
- Banks reconciliation , account receivable/payables with understanding of debit/credit.
- Oversees internal department finances.
- Provides work lead direction and supervisory oversight to financial staff while participating in the work
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment in setting priorities, determining
- Interprets new and existing federal and state regulations and their effect on areas of assigned responsibility

- Ensure home owners are current on their dues, financing for HOA Association.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to apply extensive expertise to complex principles and practices of fiscal management
- Ability to communicate with constituents in a professional and respectful manner
- High proficiency in PC compatible software programs such as Word, EXCEL and Access
- Ability to use persuasion and negotiation skills to build consensus to achieve short-and long-term goals and objectives
- Ability to analyze computerized accounting records, and to research and correct computer data errors
- Ability to develop, design databases, and create reports
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and/or 5 years experience
- 3 years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting experience preferred in construction management, property/facility management and knowing Apfolio is a PLUS.
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
