Salary:
This is a full-time twelve (12) month position at 232 days with a minimum annual salary range of $83,341 ($359.22 per day) to $102,855 ($443.34 per day).
Primary Purpose:
This position aims to establish, expand, train, and sustain school based health programs, specifically nurse and other health related personnel. Establish and maintain a regional nursing cooperative to assist in delivery of training and technical assistance to LEA's.
Education/Certification:
- Licsened Registered Nurse (required)
- Bachelor of Science- Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
- Community health experience
Experience:
- Five years minimum school health experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of working with state and local health agencies
- Supervisory experience required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Bilingual preferred
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Actively and independently seek professional growth opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community
- Provide direction and leadership for all ESC Region 13 school and community health initiatives
- Understand and meet ESC Region 13 client needs in the areas of school health and community health
- Communicate with ESC Region 13 clients in the area of school and community health
- Deliver ESC Region 13 products and services in the area of school and community health
- Conduct and/or assist in evaluations of assigned staff
- Develop and maintain the annual budget for the school and community health initiatives
- Understand and use ESC Region 13 internal systems
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Telephone, fax, copier, computer and peripherals, other equipment as requirements change
