We are expanding our education department and we are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for teaching. At Van Duyn Center our Education Department offers a number of programs for our nursing staff. We conduct classes for the Resident Assistant (RA) program, which supports and complements the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with provide resident care. The department offers ongoing education and skills based training for the Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and the Registered Nurses (RNs). Van Duyn Center partners with companies to provide the skills training, which the department works to coordinate. General Orientation is part of the department's responsibility for all new employees and annual mandatory educational programs too.
The department has team members who assume different roles for the educational requirements so you have the opportunity to specialize. Education is the foundation for achieving quality outcomes for our residents and job engagement and satisfaction for our employees.
