ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the all day-to-day operations of the facility. The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for developing and maintaining employee relations, ensuring the coordination of the delivery of quality care and services, understanding and meeting financial guidelines for the homes operations, and promoting the facility's stature in the community at large. The Nursing Home Administrator will report to work ready for routine duties and emergencies, and may include on-call duty up to 24 hours, unless other qualified personnel are available and pre-assignment is made.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Current Illinois Nursing Home Administrator license/or eligible to sit for licensure.
Minimum three years experience in healthcare in a senior management capacity.
Strong healthcare regulatory knowledge.
Fiscal and budgetary knowledge.
Ability to work with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Proficient in the use of personal computer.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
