POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As an activity Director you are responsible for the development, implementation, and suplervision of the full scope of the activity departments services in the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABLILIES:
Plans individual and group programs in accordance with the residents needs, preferences, interests, abilities and is consistant with treatment goals and interventions.
Encourages resident involvement in activity planning
Establishes and communicates a schedule of programming in accordance with residents needs and preferences.
Ensures that all activities adhere to safety and infection control standards.
Documentation of resident response and involvement with programs
Trains and oversees documentation of all activity staff
Performs other duties as requested.
