Position Overview:
Under the supervision of Nursing Home Administrator, the candidate serves as the Human Resources Liaison between Nursing Home staff and the County HR department.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for typing, filing, records maintenance, screening telephone calls and performing various secretarial and administrative duties. Works independently with little supervision to keep the department functioning in an organized manner.
Qualifications:
· Requires a high school diploma. A 2-year college certificate or equivalent is preferred.
· Proficiency in Point Click Care is preferred.
· Knowledge and proficiency in computer based applications, including work processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
· Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
· Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Must be able to demonstrate good judgment in dealing with employees, residents and their families.
