Occupational Medicine Director directs the design and implementation of occupational medicine service offerings that support the needs of local businesses and workers. Maintains working relationships with local industries to ensure current issues are addressed and that the needs of the working community are met. Being an Occupational Medicine Director analyzes occupation related costs and case data; reports trends and status to management. Develops programs, guidelines, and standards for occupational service delivery that support the organization's overall strategy. Additionally, Occupational Medicine Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. The Occupational Medicine Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Position Highlights
- Operational since 1985, Kaiser Permanente is one of the largest providers of occupational health services in Hawaii.
- Provide a wide range of workers compensation medical care and occupational health and safety services to employers, unions and insurers.
- Monday through Friday. No weekends. No call.
- Exceptional opportunity for an OEM physician with solid clinical skills who has a passion for care delivery as a part of a collaborative, well integrated team.
Position Qualifications
- BC/BE in Occupational Medicine
- 3-5 years experience in Occupational Medicine required
- Residency in Occupational Medicine preferred
- Must commit to a full time schedule for a minimum of 6 months.
