Occupational Therapy Director directs the programs and staff of the occupational therapy department. Sets and implements guidelines for occupational therapy programs. Being an Occupational Therapy Director monitors patient progress and treatment plans. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Occupational Therapy Director typically reports to top management. The Occupational Therapy Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Occupational Therapy Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Opportunity
Therapy Tree is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a team of highly qualified and passionate therapists that seek to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of children. This role includes an exciting mix of collaborative treatment and training across a multidisciplinary team with SLPs, SLPAs, PTs, OTs and COTAs!
Responsibilities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university program
- Current Arizona COTA licensure
- At least one year of experience working with children as a certified occupational therapy assistant
- Fingerprint clearance card
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking preferred
Qualifications
- Treat pediatric patients in need of occupational therapy
- Educate and train patients/parents/caregivers
- Collaborate with other therapists and assistants
