Office Services Professional performs and oversees various administrative functions and processes and acts as the organization's point person for outside vendors and service providers. Plans and coordinates office-wide facilities maintenance, space planning, moves, equipment installations, and other events or projects with internal and external stakeholders. Being an Office Services Professional monitors inventory and places orders for office equipment, supplies, or provisions. Manages or administers accounting processes including budgeting, invoice processing, employee expense reports, reimbursements, petty cash, and time tracking. Additionally, Office Services Professional may support HR activities or initiatives with employee onboarding and interview coordination, and training. Performs company database or system administration tasks, including data input, reporting, user support, and upgrades. Resolves day-to-day problems and coordinates with stakeholders to obtain solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Office Services Professional work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Phlebotomist I draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. They also have direct contact with patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.


    Phlebotomist Job Responsibilities:


    • Perform blood draws competently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
    • Utilize standard procedures to identify the patient, record appropriate collection information, label and record all test tubes, log procedures and enter specimen data into computer system.
    • Display quickly, courteous, and in a professional manner towards patients, client staff and coworkers. Resolve issues and ensure quality patient care.
    • Always follows standard precautions. Routine handling of biohazardous and or chemical hazardous material.
    • Utilize company resources to aid with day-to-day operations and the specimen data input (i.e. test catalog, client services, etc.).
    • Communicate issues and concerns to the Phlebotomy Supervisor.
    • Maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, client and/or company records and issues.
    • Comply with all safety policies.
    • Dispose of all sharp instruments in the sharp container.
    • Maintain a clean work area.
    • Communicate effectively in a courteous, professional manner with all levels of management, co-workers and clients to provide quality customer service.
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, company and department policies, procedures and regulations.


    Phlebotomist Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED
    • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training. Preferred
    • Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
    • Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
    • 6 months in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
    • 1 year of phlebotomy experience is required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
    • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
    • Keyboard/data entry experience.
    • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
    • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable. Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.


    Phlebotomist Job Details:

    • Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:45am-12pm. No rotational Saturdays.
    • Starting at: $17.25-$19/hr. (Based on experience) benefits
