Reporting to the CEO, the CFO position is a critically important member of the executive leadership team serving as a credible, knowledgeable, and trusted resource to the CEO and other senior leaders. As such, we seek an experienced leader who will bring financial discipline and heighten the effectiveness of the financial function. Equally importantly, this leader will offer strategic insights and options to enhance enterprise value.
More specifically:
This position requires a hands-on and quality focused financial executive who combines sound financial leadership with proven business effectiveness. Accordingly, the new CFO will be responsible for the financial management of the organization including the customary responsibility for budget analysis and management, financial modeling and GAAP-compliant & IFRS reporting, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, accounting and treasury operations, mergers & acquisitions, and investment strategies. To succeed, though, The CFO will be expected to offer quality, meaningful, timely analyses, and financial perspectives necessary for corporate decisions and strategic planning.
In addition to providing financial leadership to the Company, this position will be responsible for the administration, planning, forecasting and analysis of the financial risk-based models related to new products or lines of business. In addition to the finance and accounting functions, the CFO will also lead and be responsible for Information Technology (IT) and Legal/Compliance functions.
The CFO will be a “culture carrier” of the organization, leading by example. She/he will be proactive constantly identifying new opportunities to build value. They will be a transparent results-oriented executive that does the right things, the right way in a style that is professional and considerate when dealing with all members of the team.
