Protective services involves crisis intervention to consumers who are victims or potential victims of abuse, neglect or exploitation, or who are a danger to themselves or others.
Minimum Experience and Training
Master's degree in human services and one year of experience performing assessments
or
Bachelor's degree in human services and two year of experience performing assessments
or
Associate's degree in human services and four years of case management experience including two years performing assessments
or
Six years of case management experience, including two years performing assessments; supplemented by successful completion of 12 credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related behavioral sciences.
