Towne Kids is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our growing clinical team!
Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Perform Initial Assessments, Reassessments, Case Monitoring, and other assessments for home care clients, consistent with standards of nursing practice and CAHC guidelines
- Develop and implement the written care plan that reflects the needs of the client
- Supervise field employees by performing clinical competency exams, as well as provide appropriate clinical training and supervision
- Assist in providing quality care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards
- Assess and document the client’s biophysical, psychosocial and educational needs as well as accurately evaluating and documenting changes in client’s status
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with the client and his/her family members, as well as the health care team/staff of the agency
- Report appropriate changes in the client’s condition to the Director of Nursing and/or the physician
- Consistently adheres to universal precautions, aseptic technique and infection control guidelines
- Implements care in a manner that is maximally safe for the client, his/her family and self
- Maintains standards of nursing care as well as implement the policies and procedures established by the agency
- Respect the rights, privacy and property of all others at all times
Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Requirements:
- At least 3 years of previous RN experience
- Previous RN supervisor or home care experience is preferred
- Active New Jersey RN License in good standing
- Willing to travel throughout New Jersey; expected travel can be 60-70% of scheduled job responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and/or ability to utilize online software to preview client and caregiver profiles
