General Scope and Purpose of Position

This is a Quality Lead position within the Pumper Business Unit at Sutphen Corporation’s Urbana, OH facility. The main responsibility of this position is to champion quality within the business unit by leading 1-2 Quality Technician through their daily work; providing guidance and direction, ensuring all required inspection are completed in a timely manner, and prioritizing the most important quality projects and initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Continuously evaluate best approach to quality
• Ensure all required quality inspections are completed by Quality Technicians in a timely manner; complete.

• Review and distribute inspection list using provided documentation / process after each inspection.
• Create monthly quality summary for each stage; prioritizing the most impactful issues to be addressed.
• Be a part of applicable production project reviews, providing any needed open, honest, and direct feedback.
