JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Banking Specialist role is responsible for performing product support duties and assisting Treasury Management and the Bank Solutions Technology Product Managers, as directed. This position will provide a full range of professional, technical and general support to internal customers, vendors, and bank personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Knowledgeable in all commercial products supported by Digital Banking Solutions
(including, but not limited to, commercial online and mobile banking, remote deposit and mobile capture, positive pay, e-statements, commercial bill payment service, account analysis, and anything related to the product implementations on the banking core system).
2. Validates all paperwork, agreements, and maintenance forms are complete and have the proper information and required signatures for accounts and users being onboarded to the various commercial applications and products. This includes the verification of proper documentation and compliance of all ACH, deposit capture and wire activities.
3. Implements and maintains all commercial products, services and accounts for the customers, including the setup of clients in the various treasury management applications, such as, but not limited to, core, ACH risk management systems and the various interfacing applications; monitoring and changing ACH, remote deposit capture and wire exposure limits (temporary revisions, as well as permanent), as necessary.
4. Verify account analysis fees and provide back up support for monthly opening and closing of the analysis fee cycle, loading files from the core, online banking, lockbox, and other commercial products generating billing files.
5. Works all positive pay daily exceptions items for returns or payment, maps and tests all new positive pay issue files and communicates any suspected fraudulent items to QCRH
Fraud and/or Treasury Management.
6. Monitors and reviews any customer daily remote and mobile deposit capture alerts.
Verifies that the approval provided to process over the limit transactions is sufficient.
7. Monitors all treasury management applications for system delays or outages on a daily basis.
8. Assists in implementing, testing and maintaining all commercial banking applications and interfacing products, which includes any system updates and releases.
9. Assists Treasury Management with all commercial products and services, providing remote support as needed.
10. Downloads daily audit reports from the various treasury management applications for maintenance verification and archival.
11. Provides necessary information to Treasury Management and Internal Audit as needed for audits, exams, etc.
12. Researches, troubleshoots, and answers support questions for Treasury Management and bank personnel.
13. Coordinates and facilitates all communication with Treasury Management, their customers, the vendors and other internal staff during a reported outage of a commercial application.
Must follow protocol and prescribed timelines for determining the proper mitigation steps for any transactional activity. Takes all action necessary to avoid the possibility of operational or systemic breakdown that would result in a financial loss to the banks or their customers.
14. Troubleshoots all vendor-related issues; opening cases with the vendors, tracking status and ensuring timely resolution to problems.
15. Assists in the conversion and de-conversion efforts within the company, including but not limited to data validation, testing, planning, training, and data entry. Conversion related efforts may occur outside of normal business hours.
16. Other duties and projects as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1. Associate degree in finance/accounting or an equivalent combination of commercial online banking support experience and/or education is required.
2. At least 2-4 years’ experience in a banking environment or similar financial institution is beneficial.
3. Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, intuitively knowing how to research issues, investigate them and follow through to their inevitable conclusion and resolution.
4. Excellent customer service, utilizing effective oral and written communication skills and etiquette, is required.
5. Experience in writing formal procedural and training documentation and materials is beneficial.
6. Knowledge of NACHA Rules and Regulations is beneficial.
7. Familiarity with commercial banking products and services and rely on experience and judgment to see plans/projects through to execution within required timelines is preferred.
8. Strong Computer skills are preferred (Excel, Word, browsers, etc.). Emphasis on worksheet experience, using multiple data sources and pivot tables, is preferred.
