The Specialist provides 2 level support to our customers using our digital banking services and assesses digital banking needs to deliver a seamless service experience which strengthens customer relationships.

    This position is full time, working approximately 40 hours a week, and is benefits eligible. Occasional travel may be required to sufficiently support other locations within territory.

    Position Summary

    The Digital Banking Specialist completes various activities related to the setup, troubleshooting, and day-to-day support of all Digital Channel products, including, but not limited to, online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit, remote deposit, ACH and Credit cards. The Specialist provides 2 level support to our customers using our digital banking services and assesses digital banking needs to deliver a seamless service experience which strengthens customer relationships.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Customer Service and Technical Support

    • Provides accurate and efficient servicing and technical support of all Digital Banking products.
    • Liaises with customers and Farm Credit staff to ensure the implementation of services, training of end users, and promotion of the features and benefits of bank products and services are being effectively communicated.
    • Recommends modification of promotional materials and drafts materials for approval by marketing
    • Provides phone and email support to internal and external customers resolving complex, in-depth issues often requiring lengthy calls or emails.
    • Processes digital banking requests and applications, ensuring proper procedures are followed to minimize losses to the Bank and its customers, while maintaining high-quality service standards.

    Product Development & Implementation

    • Supports the implementation of Digital Banking products by gaining understanding of available products and functions, offering insights and suggestions and completing user testing as needed
    • Compiles data from a variety of sources and interprets data to identify trends and recommend improvements to digital banking services and optimize processes and the customer experience.
    • Communicates with 3rd party vendors to set up customers or resolve their issues.

    Risk Management

    • Detects, researches, and resolves potential fraud transactions using tools provided
    • Follows risk mitigation best practices.
    • Reviews digital banking processes and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines.

    Processes and Procedures

    • Develops and presents training on digital banking processes.
    • Recommends, documents and maintains digital banking processes.
    • Monitors daily reports for accuracy, ensures all work processed is in compliance with departmental procedures and takes appropriate action or escalates issues where needed.
    • Pulls standard reports and performs manual clean-up of data as needed.

    Data Security and Confidentiality

    • Appropriately protects the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association, employees, borrowers, and other stakeholders.

    Minimum Qualifying Characteristics

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as computer science, information technology, finance or business administration
    • 2 years of experience in digital banking to include troubleshooting of digital banking products and 3 years of customer service experience
    • Working knowledge and practice of customer service principles and practices
    • Working knowledge of core banking systems
    • General knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements and industry standards related to digital banking
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite sufficient to create, update and save basic documents
    • Proficiency using digital banking technologies, platforms and tools including online banking systems, mobile banking applications, digital payment solutions, cybersecurity measures and data analytics tools
    • Skill in compiling and analyzing data to draw logical conclusions
    • Skill in learning and applying standard processes and procedures
    • Skill in entering data quickly and accurately
    • Skill in learning new technologies and capabilities
    • Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner
    • Skill in interacting and working effectively with others
    • Skill in creating and sustaining positive working relationships with co-workers
    • Skill in oral and written communication, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and customers

    Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000.

    This range is a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of this posting. Actual salaries could vary and may be above or below the range as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Variation is based on various factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, experience, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. In addition, benefits for this position include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k, tax advantage accounts, paid vacation, sick leave and parental leave.
