Online Pharmacist compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician's instructions for online or mail order subscription orders. Manages a high volume of prescriptions. Being an Online Pharmacist does not typically interact with customers. May supervise technicians and oversee operational activities including data entry, order fulfillment, and shipping. Additionally, Online Pharmacist requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Position Summary:
The Pharmacist ensures the safe and effective use and administration of medications through proper storage, handling, evaluation, preparation, compounding, labeling, and dispensing.
Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:- Current state licensure from the state board of pharmacy
- Two years previous experience as a Pharmacist
