The OR Charge Nurse/Control Desk-Clinical Operations is a registered Nurse professional nurse responsible for the coordination of the Operating Room schedule for a designated shift. In this role the charge nurse, directs, and enhances the operating room activities to maintain an efficient operating room schedule with minimal delays. The Charge Nurse work collaboratively with the anesthesia department, surgeons, staff, ancillary departments, and the OR Manager/Director.
