Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.

Registered Nurse OR Responsibilities

Preparing patients for surgery by performing assessments and obtaining medical histories Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure a safe and effective surgery Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room Monitoring patients' vital signs and responses during surgery Administering medications and fluids as directed by the physician Documenting patient care and surgical outcomes accurately Preparing the surgical room with all necessary equipment and supplies Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition Assisting in post-operative care and patient recovery Educating patients and families about pre-operative and post-operative care

Registered Nurse OR Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in IA Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Document Requirements

Active IA RN license required AHA BLS required AHA ACLS required

Working Hours

12 weeks with possible extension 36 hrs/wk 7 pm - 7:30 am EOW Holiday rotation

Salary

Upto $2280 weekly gross
