Capewell is hiring a Director of Operations for Manufacturing as a full-time job in South Windsor, CT.  
 
 As a Director of Operations, you will be responsible and accountable for effective operating processes and procedures across the plant and will oversee the day-to-day activities of the facility. The Director of Operations will supervise several high-level managers, while reporting directly to the VP and GM of Capewell. Additionally, you will be responsible for the growth and advancement of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance capacity and productivity.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Define, implement, and revise operational policies and guidelines to improve operations
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business and operational procedures
• Ensure work environments are adequate, safe, compliant, and professional 
• Oversee manufacturing and conduct detailed coordination with purchasing and sales departments, to ensure goals are met
• Maintain and support AS-9100 Quality Management System
  
   

Job Requirements:

• Excellent Leadership and Organizational abilities
• Strong aerospace machining management experience preferred
• Detailed knowledge of manufacturing regulations and operational guidelines
• Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Management required
