Job Summary:

The Operations Lead (OL) is a broad, multi-task position that oversees day-to-day production operations at the facility while also implementing initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity. A driven individual with the tenacity to see projects and process improvement initiatives to the end, the Operations Lead excels at motivating their team to perform at a high level with repeatable results. The OL is responsible for ensuring the production of work orders in a timely and efficient manner, using Sioux Rubber’s Business Systems. The OL will coordinate with the Sales team, Business Systems Administrator, and General Manager to manage plant production and to optimize the usage of labor, inventory, and equipment. The OL is charged with ensuring standard operating procedures are followed in order to ensure consistent, high-quality production. Additional duties will include assisting GM with investigating and implementing improved production techniques and equipment to lower costs, improve efficiency, increase production capacity, and maintain a high level of safety for the production team.
