Main dutiesof the Team Leader / SupportWorker :
Ensuring shiftsare planned with Residential SupportWorkers.
Toensure that all risks are safelymanaged.
Tocommunicate effectively with theteam.
Toprovide reports and documentation that reflects the progress of theyoungperson.
Toreview the young peoples careplans.
Toundertake an indepth quality and bespoke trainingpackage.
Toattend staff meetings and be proactive in improving the servicemodel
Toact as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positiveparentingmodel
Towork with young people using positive support strategies includingdeescalation tools and techniques using inhouse training(PRICE)
Toprovide positiveparenting
Tohave sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g. ChildrensHomes Regulations 2015 (including qualitystandards)
KnowledgeSkills and Qualifications required of the Team Leader / SupportWorker :
Must have a fullmanual drivinglicence.
