    The opportunity

     

    The Team Lead, Talent Operations primary role is to lead the Talent Operations Coordinators team to ensure a positive experience for candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers. The Supervisor supports the teams’ skills, development, and performance and ensures they have the resources, tools, and capacity to be successful through effective coaching and management. This role promotes efficiency and effectiveness in processes and partners with the team and stakeholders to make ongoing improvements, and it is expected a strong DEI lens is wrapped into all work and interactions.

     

    This position is office-based in Johnston, RI and follows a full-time schedule Monday through Friday. Start and stop times are flexible. Occasional domestic travel may be required based on business needs.

    Responsibilities

    People management

    • Leads team, including both full-time and contingent workers, and champions a growth, continuous improvement, process-oriented, and customer-centered mindset
    • Coaches team members and provides real-time and specific feedback to manage performance and supports ongoing development to build and maintain a high-performance team
    • Builds and maintains a productive and inclusive environment and applies a DEI lens in all interactions, including managing capacity and demand

    Stakeholder management

    • Collaborates with internal and external partners for ongoing, two-way feedback and understands the needs of the broader business
    • Applies effective communication to manage stakeholder expectations, provide appropriate updates, and build transparency across teams
    • Works with external vendors to ensure processes are effective and optimized

    Project/Program management

    • Manage process/program improvement initiatives, using appropriate documentation and change strategies
    • Accountable for execution of new hire orientation by the TA Coordinator team
    • Leads background check program

    Continuous improvement

    • Create feedback loops for Talent Operations to include efficiency and effectiveness of talent technology, processes, and programs
    • Use data to recommend customer-centered process improvement projects focused on impact, effort, and opportunity cost
    • Identifies and assesses success measures for strategic and process improvement initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Familiarity with iCIMS and Workday

    The hiring range for this position is $100,400 to $144,300 annually. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
