Basic Function and Overview:   The Rental Technician provides guest services related to the proper selection, fitting, renting and selling of a variety of winter sports equipment and accessories. Assists in numerous functions related to maintaining efficient and high-quality shop operations.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

                Duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Ensure equipment is clean, serviced and tested according to company standards.
• Tune and wax skis and snowboards.
• Complete binding test per ASTM standards
• Adjust equipment to properly fit guests and ensure safety.    
• Be a strong contributor to a teamwork environment and adhere to all shift schedules.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Maintain all paperwork according to company policy.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of skis and snowboards and all related gear.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes holidays and weekends.

Required Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Previous ski/board tuning experience is preferred.
