Renewable Operations Company, LLC (ROC) is a leader in the operations and maintenance of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects and facilities. Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is transported in 53’ tanker trailers from multiple company operated dairy based Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) anerobic digestor plants and injected via interconnect into a commercial Natural Gas pipeline.
The Natural Gas Technician is responsible for monitoring operations, performing daily safety assessments, regular preventative maintenance, and production activities to optimize uptime, quality, and function.
The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of a Natural gas interconnection facility and will also work with the Maintenance Team as needed. The Technician's work results are reviewed through the achievement of set goals and adherence to policies and procedures. On call and Call back availability will be required.
· Build trust and credibility by holding yourself and all co-workers to the company's code of business ethics, and company policies & procedures.
· Conducts day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of Compressed Natural Gas pipeline injection equipment.
· Performs equipment inspections,
· Collects gas samples for analysis.
· Train, monitor, and assist semi-drivers with the unloading and injecting of Compressed Natural Gas into the Natural Gas pipeline.
· Performs minor electrical and mechanical repairs.
· Adheres to company and project-specific health and safety requirements; participates in routine safety audits and inspections.
· All facilities and grounds maintenance including weed eating, mowing, and snow removal.
· Maintains administrative records including daily reports & logbook, filing system for drawings, instruction books and manuals, spare parts inventory, and records.
· Supports, assists, and directs the work of contractors on-site.
· Supports the maintenance team with planned maintenance, repairs, breakdowns, and special projects as needed on all regional anaerobic digester locations.
· Complete and pass a criminal history record check and employment history verification. A federal-level drug and alcohol-free status must be supported for the duration of employment and monitored through pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion drug testing requirements.
Candidates having natural gas pipeline, natural gas interconnect, Natural gas M R service, and maintenance experience are well suited.
