JOB SUMMARY
The Database Administrator is pivotal in safeguarding the integrity of Make-A-Wish Michigan's donor database within Salesforce. They excel in enhancing database functionality by implementing top-tier practices for managing stakeholder data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness. Responsibilities also entail updating constituent records, precisely documenting donations, and pledges, and promptly generating donor acknowledgment letters and gift receipts.
In this role, the administrator produces weekly gift and pledge reports and creates customized reports and queries to support strategic decision-making. They also provide Salesforce training and technical support to chapter staff and interns.
Acting as the primary liaison, the administrator ensures adherence to donor care policies, processes, and procedures. This includes collaborating with Make-A-Wish America and informing and educating staff on updates and changes to the CRM. Moreover, the administrator serves as a technology liaison with the national helpdesk, managing hardware purchases, tracking, and setup for the local chapter.
The administrator undertakes projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the operations team and the organization's mission.
This position is currently hybrid working three days in the office.
