Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities- Compile, verify, record and process forms and documents
- Key in, edit, proofread and finalize documents
- Maintain and prepare reports
- Perform bookkeeping tasks
- Photocopy documents for distribution, mailing and filing
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide general information to clients and public
- Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries
- Send and receive messages and documents
- Sort, process and verify forms and documents
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Post Secondary Education
- Moderate computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Knowledge of major software
- Solves problems effectively
- Well organized
- Works well in a team
$14.25-$21.00 per hour
