Order Clerk receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. As a member of our Warehouse team, you will help ensure that our customers receive correct orders in a timely manner so that their stores are always fully stocked with our great-tasting products. This work is completed in a fast-paced warehouse environment using powered industrial trucks while adhering to warehouse safety standards at all times. Responsibilities: Utilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck) to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallet(s) Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure the order is secure for transport before being loaded into the truck for delivery Stage completed pallets in designated shipping area(s) Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment Complete training requirements Restock product in picking areas as needed Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma (or GED) required Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred Prior experience using a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift preferred Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire date Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; may be repetitive Swire Coca-Cola is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer that participates in the E-Verify program as required by law.
