Summary

Supervises workers writing master orders used by production, shipping, invoicing, advertising, cost, and estimating departments.

Essential Job Duties

• Assist in planning and implementing order-writing and processing procedures, using knowledge of company products, pricing methods, and discount classifications.
• Analyze order processing system and develop recommendations to improve methods and procedures relating to the receipt, booking, and processing of customer orders.
• Aid in preparation and control of departmental annual budget.
• Hire, train, schedule, motivate, and evaluate job performances of staff as needed.

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have one to three years of experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products - specifically Excel, and Outlook.
• Critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Environment - Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

General warehouse conditions. Exposed to high noise levels and variable temperatures.
