Organizational Development Consultant implements all aspects of organizational development. Develops training programs, facilitates change management initiatives, and reviews current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Consultant builds human capital through employee development programs. Measures employee performance to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Consultant implements and reports on the effectiveness of leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Development Consultant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Knowledgeable about the roles of engagement, collaboration, coaching, and retention in high performing organizations is key.SDL OD consultants should also be well versed in spotting issues and trends, recommending improvements, and facilitating change using a collaborative approach involving organizational learning, other human resources centers of excellence and other stakeholders as necessary. QualificationsRequired Minimum Education: Master’s degree required, preferably in Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Adult Education or related field.Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal consulting working with managers, management consulting, organizational development, change management or a related field.Required Minimum Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of OD theories, philosophies and methods, adult learning styles and interactive teaching methods, coaching and consulting with individuals and teams, change management theory, organizational and needs analysis, principles of customer service, and employee engagement theories.Additional InformationAll interested applicants must complete BOTH below:1.
