Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Position Summary:

     

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Support the design and implementation of employee engagement surveys including partnering with vendor, survey design, consultation on action planning and follow-up to key stakeholders.
    • Partner with management on the implementation of a new talent, succession and performance management process and system across North America.
    • Collaborate with highly engaged leadership and professional development team to create and deliver robust performance management training.
    • Create a standardized process for talent management reporting and dashboard for HRBPs and Business Leaders.
    • Provide onboarding support for new leaders and facilitate new leader assimilations training and follow-up.
    •  Support change management activities for key talent management initiatives.
    • Conduct research and provide thought leadership on talent management best practices and trends in organizational development and effectiveness.

    • Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of other peers.
    • Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
    • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.

     

    Target Based Range

    $65,302 - $81,628

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience, Master's degree preferred.
    • 02-04 years related experience required.
    • Regular and predictable attendance

     

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
