Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • We are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee all fundraising activities and to manage relationships with Millhill's financial partners. This includes planning fundraising events, interacting and finding donors both public and private and encourage ongoing contributions and seeking out opportunities for financial support through grants and sponsorships.

    The essential duties are as follows:

    • Implement and monitor a comprehensive fundraising plan to expand philanthropic support of Millhill including using income and expense cycles to guide fundraising campaign decisions.
    • Identify and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders.
    • Build new donor relationships while maintaining existing ones.
    • Lead design and implementation marketing programs and special events to maximize prospect/donor engagement.
    • Coordinate media events; speak on behalf of Millhill with media outlets as needed.
    • Act as primary point of contact for funding, donations, and fundraising event inquiries.
    • Manage special event planning and implementation of the event process.
    • Oversee the grant writer role and assist in grant writing.
    • Formulate new content to earn grants, new audiences, and better relationships with donors and other corporations.
    • Monitor the donor/constituency database (GiftWorks).
    • Maintain a respectful reputation for Millhill
    • Oversee the management of the website.
    • Manage written correspondence to donors and supporters, including donor acknowledgements.
    • Assist marketing with the production of the annual report.
    • Create visibility for the Agency through an active public relations program.
    • Design and implement an annual appeal process.
    • Create/revise agency brochures.
    • Submit a monthly progress report to the CEO to include strategies and needs.


    This position is a 30-hour per week position which we consider full-time and allows for eligibility to participate in the agency's benefit programs. This position can be a hybrid position and depending on the needs of the agency, some weeks may allow the ability to work 100% from home.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of five years' professional experience in the nonprofit sector or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience.
    • Interest and enthusiasm for the mission of Millhill.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, to analyze and solve complex problems, and to exercise sound judgment.
    • A desire to continually learn and develop professionally while exhibiting respect for diverse viewpoints.
    • Excellent communications kills, including verbal, written, and public speaking.
    • Creativity and a strong sense of integrity.
