Los Alamos National Laboratory is looking for a talented, inspired, and action oriented, HR professional to join our Institutional Training Services (HR-ITS) Group. Within HR-ITS, the People and Organizational Development (POD) team is committed to delivering evidence-based and inclusive solutions for people and organizations. Reporting to the Group Leader of HR-ITS, the HR Program Specialist will consult and collaborate with the Laboratory's leaders to develop and implement talent management programs and strategy including: leadership development, succession planning, pipeline planning, change management, team building, and organizational development solutions. An additional role will be to mentor and guide their peers and, function as a coach for leaders and facilitate team coaching. They will engage and lead HR initiatives in support of HR's overall strategy. It is crucial you are an empowered self-starter and be able to creatively problem solve. Program development Advanced experience designing, planning, coordinating, delivering leadership and management training and programs; Demonstrated experience in managing and facilitating development programs across the entire leadership journey from aspiring managers to senior leaders; Ability to design learning solutions that are tied to relevant leadership and management competencies, are simple and scalable, and enhance the capabilities of leaders. Advanced ability to deliver course materials, facilitate discussions, bring relevant research and examples to enhance learning. Experience evaluating effectiveness and developing program metrics.     Experienced in leading and facilitating the OD/OE work stream initiatives in functional and technology transformations. Able to articulate change management methodology and best practices to leadership in terms the client can understand. Must be able to lead change projects with excellent initiation skills, and with follow-through abilities. Experienced facilitating diverse teams through working sessions; must be able to lead projects with the utilization of project management tools (i.e. PMBOK, etc.).     Proven experience of leading, planning, developing, and executing a variety of organizational development solutions in consultation with stakeholders, including strategic planning, organizational design, culture change, group dynamics, leadership alignment and effectiveness. Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Learning, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior or Human Resource Development is desirable. Desired Qualifications: * Current certifications in psychometrically valid instruments, such as Hogan, PROSCI and Benchmarks 360-degree feedback tools.
    * Current coaching credential from International Coach Federation or similar governing bodies.
    * Current or past experience in the Federal sector or in DOE nuclear complex.
    * Knowledge of Laboratory objectives and other statements of applicable policy/practice/procedures.
    * Current or past experience in leading projects and utilizing project tools, software, etc.
    * Current or recent Q or Top-Secret Clearance.
    Location: This position will be located in Los Alamos, NM. with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement (partially onsite/partially offsite) from a location within 2 hours ground commute of this location. Reporting onsite will be periodically required. Hybrid is at the discretion of management and can change at any time with appropriate notice. Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory.
