The Human Resources/Organizational Development (HR/OD) Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources at Age Well to ensure the effective functioning of the workforce and the attainment of organizational goals. This role strategically aligns HR initiatives with Age Well’s objectives while fostering a positive work environment and supporting employees’ needs. The HR/OD Manager is responsible for a diverse array of critical functions including recruitment, retention, and talent development strategies, as well as organizational development, HR administration, employee relations, benefits administration, and ensuring adherence to ethics and compliance standards. Collaborating with the HR Coordinator, this role contributes to fostering a high-performing, engaged, and motivated workforce essential for Age Well's success.
Qualifications:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is required.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human resources.
· PHR certification a plus
· Experience in leadership or supervisory roles
· A solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risk for the agency.
· Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), payroll software, and other HR-related technology tools.
