Duties:
- Perform X-ray as ordered by physicians
- Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Follow protocols and guidelines for proper image development and interpretation
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images and provide accurate reports
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Assist with mammography, PET scans, and other specialized imaging procedures as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as an X-ray Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology related to radiology and imaging procedures
- Strong knowledge of X-ray techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
