Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist:

• HAND, WRIST, ELBOW, SHOULDER, NECK

This opportunity offers clinical practicum hours under a certified supervisor (CHT)

SEEKING any of the following:

• CHT
• OT who would like career path to CHT
• PT who would like career path to CHT

OVERVIEW:

• 90% of patients are hand and wrist related, 10% are elbow, shoulder, and neck
• 50% of the hand and UE patients are post-surgical
• 12-14 patients per day
• Join a clinically driven staff of: 3 full-time CHT's and 1 full-time OT that will be sitting for CHT in November
• Working environment is a busy and progressive NOT-FOR-PROFIT Outpatient Clinic dedicated to Hands and Upper Extremities UE
• MENTORSHIP: A mentor is assigned. 1:1 meetings are scheduled every 2 weeks initially, then 1x/month pending skill set. We have a mentoring agenda that is progressed through pending the speed/needs of the employee. It usually spans at least 1-2 years.
• There are 2 primary hand surgeons, and 3 Orthopedic MD's that perform UE surgeries. And there are many local Orthopedic Surgeons referring patients.
• Weekly group huddles, licensed staff share patients and collaborate daily with regards to patient care/plans/progress as needed. Open environment.
• All licensed staff meet quarterly for group learning opportunities, and this is led by the staff
• Quarterly meetings are scheduled with hand surgeons.
• Licensed staff have rehab aides that assist. Hand surgeons and their NP's are open to speaking directly about the patients - cell numbers provided.

OT Hand Therapist/CHT COMPENSATION:

• $45-$68/hour
• Sign On Bonus $10,000, and Relocation Package $7,500
• Tuition Loan Repayment: $20,000 for Doctorate and $15,000 for Maters
• Plus, Federal Loan Forgiveness Program
• Full Benefits, and Onsite Interview expenses paid for
• $1,000 per year continuing education and 24 hours paid time off to be used for attending continuing education whether it be online or in person
• Merit Increase up to 3% each year, and we also have our clinical ladder program which can increase pay by an additional 3%.

LOCATION: this job requires a relocation out of Utah to similar mountainous location
