Package Design Manager jobs in Fresno, CA

Our Warehouse Package Picker are responsible for reading incoming orders on scan guns and selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery. Their duties include updating inventory counts and counting out the appropriate number of goods to fulfill and order.

Requirements

• Receive and prepare inventory for delivery
• Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Receive truck deliveries
• Locate material via Scan Gun
• Select correct number of product from storage and place on Metro carts
• Use guns to properly scan product out of correct locations.
• Correct location errors when observed.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
• Ability to lift and transport 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
• Experience is not required will train the selected new hire.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk on concrete for the duration of the shift and complete tasks that include bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Overtime is available but not required
• Individuals who are eager to work Overtime are encouraged to apply
• Will be working in a Temperature Controlled environment
• Individuals who are interested in learning our entire business and being cross trained in as many positions as possible are preferred and encouraged to apply
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English and understand basic math independently without assistance or guidance. This is required for all positions without exception.
• Good Attendance and Punctuality is a must for success with us.
• Must be comfortable working closely with others both in teams and independently.
• Must be a Self-Starter, not just standing around waiting for work. Individuals who naturally, actively look to find ways to help and move processes along without having to be asked to do so, will find long term success here with us and are highly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to use a Computer and Mouse is required throughout the facility to perform basic tasks.
