Cappellini Sales Manager NA
Responsibilities:
The Cappellini Sales Manager NA will be responsible for the brands top line development and P&L, focusing on the wholesale channel through interaction with the corporate sales organization, based both in USA and Italy.
S/he will report directly to the Brand Sales Director and will be in charge of developing and managing the Brand’s dealers’ network in assigned territories in full alignment with the HQ.
Main Activities:
- Actively manage and develop Cappellini dealers on the East Coast of US and Canada, Texas and California, ensuring the achievement of the annual sales targets, following development on each dealer market, analyzing the growth potential and competitor climate;
- Actively manage and develop Cappellini North American e-tailers, ensuring the achievement of the annual sales targets, the management of the category/product portfolio and marketing activities;
- Identify business opportunities and develop new business relationships including expanding dealers’ network;
- Secure the customer experience related to customer service, operational processes and co-marketing;
- Develop and manage the dealer’s network in the assigned area;
- Execute the Company commercial strategy regarding adv investments, promotions, product assortment, competitors benchmarking, pricing and discount policies;
- Reach the yearly and business plan revenues and profitability targets for the assigned area;
- Optimize the geographic presence of the Company, opening or changing, when necessary, new dealers;
- Train dealers’ and partner’s sales force and main architects and interior designers within the area;
- Guarantee profitability in the Region and monitoring KPIs through structured budgeting and forecasting activities;
- Manage and create a strong business relationship with Luminaire, being a 100% part of the Lifestyle Design Group, ensuring strong sales growth and adequate product display on the shop floors.
Experience and Education
- Degree in Economics or Design, similar academic background will be evaluated;
- Proven Sales history of at least 3-5 years, achieving measurable sales goals;
- Direct experience in the high-end furniture/design business;
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and, possibly, Catia, Solid Works, Autocad);
- Knowledge of Italian is a plus.
