Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization.     We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven history of managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimizing warehouse efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.

    This position reports to the Vice President of Manufacturing.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Inventory Management:

    o Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.

    o Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

    o Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock counts with system records.

    • Warehouse Operations:

    o Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.

    o Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.

    o Monitor warehouse KPIs, such as order fulfillment rates, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.

    • Team Leadership:

    o Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, pickers, packers, etc.

    o Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.

    o Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.

    • Quality Control:

    o Support the company’s ISO/IEC80079-34 initiatives.

    o Implement/administer quality control measures to ensure all incoming and outgoing goods meet company standards.

    o Conduct regular inspections of goods and facilities to identify and address any quality issues.

    o Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues and prevent recurrence.

    • Safety Compliance:

    o Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working warehouse environment.

    o Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

    o Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, and implement corrective actions as needed.

    • Vendor and Supplier Management:

    o Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.

    o Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to optimize costs and service levels.

    o Address any issues or concerns related to vendor performance or product quality.

    Qualifications & Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).

    • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.

    • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes.

    • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

    • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.

    • Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
