ABOUT THE JOB
Packaging is the only piece of the Peak Design brand, beyond the product itself, that every single customer interacts with, and you will be the owner and coordinator of all things packaging for Peak Design. As a member of the Brand Team, you will drive both our strategic vision for what packaging is, and the day-to-day tactical needs in bringing packaging projects to life. You will work closely with the head of brand, design director, and graphic designers in coordinating both that strategic and tactical work.
You will work closely with a number of other teams in bringing packaging to life: Product to know what needs packaging when, Marketing to make sure included product information is accurate and ready, Wholesale to make sure the needs of our hundreds of retailers are met, and CSR to make sure we are constantly challenging ourselves to lessen the environmental footprint of packaging. You will build schedules and make sure deadlines are met, coordinating with the Brand team project manager, our go-to market director, and a number of Product team project managers.
In this role you will be responsible for all packaging of Peak Designs’s many products. This means creating new designs and layouts (or managing vendors designing layouts for us) for net new products and upgrading and maintaining those currently on the market. You are wildly organized with an extreme attention to detail and a desire to create delightful customer experiences.
