Package Design Manager leads the planning, design, and creation of packaging artwork for an organization. Utilizes graphic arts design techniques and tools to create compelling package designs that reflect the organization's branding and marketing objectives. Being a Package Design Manager incorporates industry practices and any regulatory requirements into package designs. Ensures that design and branding standards are utilized consistently for all packaging. Additionally, Package Design Manager collaborates with production, marketing, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all requirements and adhere to the budget. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in industrial design, art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Package Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Package Design Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Overview

    The Event Floral Design Manager sells and oversees the production of corporate and social event floral orders (some weddings). Their main duties include meeting with clients, writing event proposals, executing floral designs for corporate events and social event orders, managing part-time and freelance designers, creating weekly design schedules, assisting with rental inventory management, and ensuring smooth and timely completion of each corporate/personal event. Reports to ownership.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Sells corporate and social event floral and décor orders
    • Composes clear and concise client proposals for corporate and social events, communicates updates, proposal revisions and other pertinent information to ensure seamless service to client and 100% satisfaction
    • Conceptualizes and executes all design projects incorporating innovative use of colors, floral materials, vessels, and accent materials, while meeting established criteria for Flora Nova Design aesthetics
    • Collaborates with other design managers to create the weekly design schedule for designers, freelancers, and assistants to ensure timely completion of all floral designs
    • Collaborates with other design managers to create the weekly flower list and ordering sheets, and communicates with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of goods
    • Consistently meets sales margins and purchasing budgets
    • Coordinates efforts of the event delivery and setup team to uphold Flora Nova Design service standards at event setups, leading by example in all processes and functions to maximize team performance
    • Leads and participates in the execution and setup of installations and events
    • When needed, helps the other Floral Design Managers in the completion of their orders
    • Maintains productivity and cleanliness of studio by restocking goods and products, managing the studio rental inventory, organizing rentals after each event
    • Effectively upholds the service standards of Flora Nova Design, driving sales by using a consultative approach to create customized design concepts and product presentations for corporate and social event clients

    Qualifications
    - At least 5 years experience in floral design is a must
    - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
    - 2 years event sales experience
    - strong computer skills (Office products, Canva, Google workplace) and the ability to quickly learn new online tools
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
    - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    - Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
