General Summary
The Packaging Engineer is responsible for developing packaging solutions to meet customers diverse needs, designing Crates, Cartons, and Foam Packaging. Responsible for costing, documenting designs, working with manufacturing regarding specifications and assembly question.
Works under close direction of the Design Manager, able to work in a fast-paced environment, have good multitasking skills, be creative to come up with unique ideas and solutions.

May require standing and walking for extended periods of the time; talking, hearing, and seeing are essential duties of the job; sitting at a desk for extended periods of time is also required. Traveling to visit customers may be required. Visits to manufacturing will be exposed to noise and safety requirement, training provided. Training will require working in the manufacturing area to understand equipment and processes.
