Packaging Engineer designs product packaging to ensure product integrity and appeal under varying shipping and display conditions. This person will be working with a team of 2-4 others in the fast-paced packaging department. The majority of the work will be packaging meat, labeling packages, and running some machines such as the sausage stuffer, tenderizer, patty machine etc.

This person will be taught:
-Basic cuts of meat (and what portion of the animal they come from) and how to recognize them
-The basics of USDA regulations and some associated forms
As needed, this person will:
-Help load out
-Assist in the brining of pork bellies and hams
-Mix sausage seasonings and assist in the making of sausage
