CKS Packaging, Inc. is a leader and growing manufacturer of rigid plastic containers. CKS is currently in need of new Blow Mold Process Technicians to join the team in the Urbana, Illinois area for 2nd or 3rd shift.

We are a family-owned manufacturer of rigid plastic bottles and containers, headquartered in Atlanta looking to add on some additional Technicians with Blow Molding industry experience.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of extrusion blow molding, one-step molding, two-stage molding, reheat & blow (or blown molding of any sort) or injection molding processes and equipment is preferred.
• knowledge of Bekum, Uniloy, Aoki, Rocheleau, One Blow, Nissei or similar machinery and PET, HDPE or PVC resin, or glass are very helpful!
• Experience making adjustments to production equipment processes to change material distribution, weights, heights, and other physical properties/dimensions, parison, etc.
• Knowledge of mold change procedures [changover team, setup tech, process tech, super tech] and steps/methods for line changes
• We are also hiring for experience Blow Mold Machine Operators.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor blow molding machines to ensure proper production of plastic products
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to meet industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the machines to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
- Document production data and report any deviations or abnormalities to supervisors
